Hello Team fyi, after doing research, it has been confirmed that Android 13 is indeed not a STABLE version but a BETA version which is more suitable for developers and not for pure users.. because it is natural that many bugs will be found because that is the purpose of the BETA version, and it needs to be reported to the center (google android developer).
For fellow developers, reporting bugs to each other may be a daily activity, but this is not suitable for pure users.
Of the many bugs that I have encountered in Android 13, one of them is that I recently tested it on a real device of one of our clients and it turned out that the keyboard would not come out, while when developing on the Android 13 emulator it was normal, there were no issues, this is just a handful of issues that need to be reported to Google Android Developer.
CONCLUSION
Google Android developer (center) needs feedback data in the field to improve Android v.13, so it hopes that there are users who are willing to install it and are willing to contribute feedback if there are bugs or in rough terms are willing to be "guinea pigs".
SUGGESTION
In order to increase OIS internal productivity, we recommend:
- If you have the opportunity to upgrade, it's better not to do so, wait until the version is stable.
- If you want to upgrade, make sure the max version is Android v.12.
- we recommend downgrading to Android v.13, if possible.
OPINION
It could be that Android users who have already upgraded their OS to Android v.13, may have downgraded because their activities were hampered, because some people also complained that the QR scanner was not working, as I highlighted in this pp group.
That's about all the team I can say.. so from the mobile dev team, actually they can focus more on developing the OIS feature rather than taking part in providing feedback to the center (Google Android Developer), unless one day the Android v.13 version is STABLE, thank you.
