The chronology is when the connection from the provider started to slow down, I tried to check the modem and it was so hot it seemed like it needed to cool down for a while.
After I turned the modem back on, what happened was that my laptop couldn't connect to the internet, even though my friends' laptops could, and my gadget could too, while we were connected to the same network (using the same access point).
Your DNS server might be unavailable
I thought something had changed in the Chrome browser configuration, but after I reset and cleaned the history + registry, it still didn't work, so I tried surfing on Google using a gadget that could access the internet and came across the TomsHardware forum, it turned out there was a member whose PC had the same fate as my laptop, namely:
IPv4 Connectivity: Internet
IPv6 Connectivity: No Internet Access
Where the status of Internet Protocol version 4 is that internet access is available, but in fact the field cannot, "Browser Cannot Load Web Page".
The next step is to try the browser's recommendation to do a "Diagnostic", then when we press the diagnostic button, Windows automatically does an autorepair, the final result is shown to us with the message "Your DNS server might be unavailable"
From the responses of several tomshardware members, there is one ID named ronintexas whose answer gets the reputation of "Best Solution" in the highlight with a green border, in his comment he provides a link to microsoft windows. and here I summarize the implementation:
1). Click the Wireless icon on the taskbar menu.
2). Right-click the APN you are using, then select status
3). Here you can see that you should be able to access the internet using IPv4 but in fact you can't, so the next step is to select Properties.
4). Select IPv4 then Properties
5). Finishing, change the settings to automatic, then OK.
Done, happy surfing again

- Hi Anonymous, you're welcome, don't forget to spread the good news to your friends, by sharing it, thank you.
- Hii ALDO PANGESTU, you're welcome
- Try this way: Click Control Panel >> Network and Internet >> Internet Options >> Connections >> LAN Setting >> Check Automatically detect settings Don't forget to click "OK"
- Hi ISYFAN IHDA AULIA, yuhuu you're welcome
- Hii KRISTEVA WIBAWA, usually antivirus makes manual settings return to the previous one. It's better to just use the original antivirus, or just uninstall the 3rd party antivirus, because actually Windows Defender is more than enough as the default antivirus for Windows. And it's free.
- Wow, this must be the antivirus's fault, bro. Are you using Kaspersky antivirus? Because I have solved a client's problem, the symptoms are the same but the cause is different, so the antivirus automatically changes the computer's proxy address settings to a certain address (to manual mode). And when I set the LAN setting to automatic proxy, eeeh, Kaspersky changed it again to manual, and so on.. If that happens, please try this method: https://support.kaspersky.com/10616
- Hii MR.G, okay thank goodness then
- I have tried following the steps above, the point is to change the DNS to automatic mode, or in other words use DHCP mode, so that the computer automatically requests/asks for an IP that is still available.
- Hi RAHMAT KAMIL, okay
