Nglambor Beach is a tourist destination in Yogyakarta, located in the same area as Siung and Jogan beaches. If you're coming from Jogan, simply continue westward until you reach the first intersection, take a right turn, and you’ll find a sign saying “Pantai Nglambor” (Nglambor Beach). It takes about 15 minutes from TPR (Ticket Payment Point) to the beach.

First Impressions As we navigated the steep and rugged road, our first reaction was, “WOW – Incredible!” Carefully managing the gas on our motorbikes, we took on the challenge with mixed feelings, hoping that the tires wouldn’t burst.
Second Impressions Upon reaching the first public restroom and waiting in line, we couldn't help but notice the bold motorcycle taxis (locally known as Jonki) speeding down the rugged path on their bikes, which looked like boy band-inspired mopeds, racing as if they were ATVs. Again, we thought, “WOW – Incredible!” We half-expected their bikes to fall apart.
Third Impressions Seeing Nglambor Beach for the first time was “amazing.” Nestled between two rocky hills, its marine life is stunning and full of charm. Nglambor is still the only beach in Gunung Kidul where snorkeling is possible. Words can’t truly describe its natural beauty, and once again, all I can say is, “WOW – Fantastic.”
