"Yay, day-off is here!" That was the sentiment from my coworker, one of the cheerful operators, when she invited me to join a spontaneous trip to the southeastern part of the Riau Islands. Without hesitation, I said, "Okay!"
As we set off, we encountered a bit of a conflict between the minibus drivers and motorbike taxis. It turned out that their respective organizations had set up regulations regarding passenger pickups, and, unfortunately, we had to pay both for an unreasonable distance.
Long story short, we visited several tourist spots, one of which was Melur Beach in Barelang, located in Sijantung, Galang Island, Batam City, Riau, 29485.
