The Charm of Laguna Lembupurwo Beach in Kebumen (CLLBK)

Some call it Laguna Beach, while others call it Lembupurwo Beach. However, in my opinion, "Laguna" has a specific meaning, as described by Wikipedia. The term "Laguna" is derived from the English word "lagoon," which refers to a body of saltwater separated from the sea by a barrier, such as sand, rocks, or similar formations.

What makes Laguna or Lembupurwo Beach truly appealing is indeed the Laguna River and its pine forest. Though the trees have not yet grown large or tall, they offer enough shade and are neatly arranged. Most of the tourists I observed there seemed more interested in spending time relaxing along the Laguna River. Some were fishing, others were simply relaxing while enjoying the view, and some were resting among the pine trees.

As for the beach itself, I think it’s quite similar to other beaches on the southern coast, so it’s understandable that visitors might be less inclined to spend time relaxing on the shoreline. Therefore, I would conclude that:

The most attractive spots at Laguna or Lembupurwo Beach are:

  1. The Laguna River
  2. The Pine Tree Forest
  3. The Lembupurwo Sea / Laguna
