Long story short, my workplace moved from West Semarang to East Semarang. Naturally, the first thing my coworkers always highlighted was this mosque.
“Our new office is close to the Central Java Grand Mosque.”
Immediately, my thoughts centered on this place as the main point before exploring East Semarang.
Not only that, every Friday, I make it a point to soak in the atmosphere of this mosque after completing Friday prayers, while enjoying the signature Jumat Berkah (Blessed Friday) meal.
In my opinion, this mosque is extraordinary. There's a gigantic Quran displayed at the entrance. In the past, when my body felt weak and exhausted, I would take time to rest on the upper floor of the mosque for some healing and recovery.
