As you know, the pandemic era has hindered my nature exploration activities nearby. It’s not just me; it’s been like that in general. I’m sure you’ve felt the impact too.
Unexpectedly, luck was on my side when my boss, on a whim, invited our two-person software development team for a little break. To refresh our minds, the boss took us coding at the Starbucks Rest Area on the Semarang-Solo Toll Road, KM 429.
After work hours ended, before heading home, we were invited to make a brief stop at the Eling Bening tourist spot located in Bawen Subdistrict, Semarang Regency. At that time, the cloudy atmosphere blanketed Eling Bening and the surrounding area, adding a touch of drama to my already unsettled mood.
What surprised me was the vast panorama of Rawa Pening stretching across the eastern viewpoint. Honestly, this was my first time setting foot here, so it’s no wonder I was able to fully enjoy this breathtaking view.
