While assigned to fieldwork at TBBM Rewulu last December 2014, I took the opportunity to document this adventure.
The Rewulu Fuel Terminal (TBBM), located on Jalan Raya Wates, KM. 10, Sedayu Subdistrict, Bantul, DI Yogyakarta, is a subsidiary of PT. Pertamina (Persero) that plays a key role in distributing fuel types like Premium, Pertamax, Solar/Biosolar, and Kerosene for the DI Yogyakarta, Klaten, and ex-Karisidenan Kedu regions, as well as specialized aviation fuel (Avtur) for the Adi Sumarmo Airport in Solo and Adi Sutjipto Airport in Yogyakarta.
A brief history of TBBM Rewulu: It is one of the supply and distribution operation units under PT. Pertamina (Persero)'s Marketing and Trade Directorate. Built in 1972 and operational since 1973, it is located at Jl. Raya Wates, KM. 10, and is the third-largest throughput fuel terminal in the Central Java area, distributing fuel by tanker trucks. TBBM Rewulu is a state-owned enterprise (BUMN).
