Introducing My Self & Family Casually (IMSFC)

When learning English to introduce yourself and your family, it’s important to use a relaxed and casual style so it feels more natural. Start by introducing yourself with your name, age, occupation or interests, and a bit of background, like where you’re from. For example, you could say;

Hello guys, welcome back to my channel my name is Wawan Chahyo Nugroho. Okay, let me spell it “W.A.W.A.N. C.H.A.H.Y.O. N.U.G.R.O.H.O”. My friends call me “Lek WAW”, so I ever wonder lest, “they think i’m their uncle?” or “probably they see me as a numerical representations of my age?” OMG, it’s sound so scary, but fun!, I’m okay.

I grew up in Jogja, but I’m originally from Solo. I’m an electronic technician, it was, and now I’am an android developer but I’m not sure.

I started work at Beto Game on November 2009, I performed a variety of gaming console repairs on all major brands such as Sony Playstation, Mircosoft xbox, and Nintendo. Most common issues were broken USB damage, CD stuck in the console, memory issues, and a whole lot else. They can be fixed within a day, and few days for complex repairs like hardware issues.

When I worked for PT. UNISEM on April 2011, I performed a variety of robotics repair for semiconductor production such as Sentry, Teradyne, Catalys, FTDI, Epson, Dymark, MCT, Synax, Multitest, and Aseco. Also responsible for:

  1. Preventive maintenance
  2. Troubleshooting non standard events in the production line
  3. Participate in safety forums and emergency response team.

When I worked for PT. EROKSA on September 2013, someone call me “SUPERMAN” because I did whatever my boss needed. Sometime I became a surveyor assistant, a designer, an electronic technician, an operational assistant, a courier, and so on. I’m pretty much sure, it’s a noble professional.

Recently, I worked for HFW Technology on December 2018. I’ve built three mobile apps android based such as the chat apps, the student information system, and the online mechanic prototype.

Okay, let me introduce my family. There are six people in my immediate family, I have two sisters and two brothers and my parents of course. One of my sisters live in Borneo with her husband so we don’t see her often. My father is seller, he sells anything except himself. My mother is housewife.

I’m not close to enough with my family because I always try to spend as much time as possible with my laptop and my English lessons too. Do you believe me? “NOOOO”, “GREAT!” wkwkwk thank you and see u.

Rebranding from BUNDET to GAEXE

Welcome to BUNDET

The largest mobile software developer community in Indonesia that shares solutions in a thorough manner and in the shortest possible time.

BUNDET is powered by admin as a learning media about technology, algorithms and programming. In Javanese, "bundet" means "tangled", describing how complex a problem is faced by a technology practitioner. Where an electro technician, web developer, android programmer, engineer, blogger shares his experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging.

The admin's motivation in building this blog is not for profit, but rather for educational or learning purposes. Sometimes questions from members or visitors can open the admin's mind, sometimes they can remind the admin, and some even correct the admin.

BUNDET is designed by the admin to map the knowledge that has been learned, so that the admin does not have difficulty in remembering the knowledge when needed again. In addition, the placement of knowledge in the local computer is also unstructured and vulnerable to viruses, accidents and natural disasters.

BUNDET is one of the admin's effective learning concepts, because the admin is aware that the admin's brain capacity is very weak in memorizing. In addition, it is also a form of expression of understanding a science, not meaning memorizing everything. And as a trigger for the admin to be more active in learning. No BUNDET, guaranteed the admin will never learn again.

Meanwhile, the admin chose Google as a sponsor because the admin did not want to burden visitors with BUNDET operational costs, and the admin was also sure that no visitors would want to pay for something like this, right? :)

Meanwhile, the admin still has not thought about the interests of profit, because the admin is still in the phase of seeking knowledge until graduating and competent. Even if the admin intends to seek profit, then it is a big mistake and too much of a waste of time if it is still struggling in BUNDET, the admin should play affiliate sites, play English-language sites, trade, or work.

Admin's motivation to develop BUNDET

  1. Generally : "Contribute to Enlightening the Nation's Life"
  2. Specifically : "Training Admins to Stay Consistent in Learning Actively".

Admin realizes that as a weak human being, who is still learning, and is not free from all forms of mistakes. However, admin will always try to adhere to the academic code of ethics as explained in the following link:

http://lib.ugm.ac.id/ind/?page_id

Admin hopes that anyone will be willing to reprimand the admin persuasively if they find any form of violation. Please do so via  Contact Us .

In the future, the admin's dream is to become a reliable developer, both software and hardware.

Amen,

It is not impossible for admin relatives or even the public to participate in this media, please join. Hopefully this media can be useful for all groups.

Thank you, and welcome to Bundet

About me

Well, before I draw any conclusions about what is really going on with me, it would be better if I divided this topic into 5 main points:

  1. Mindset
  2. Life View
  3. Clarification
  4. Flashback
  5. Conclusion

So that later what I conclude will have a clear meaning.

1. Mindset

Evaluate your life journey and learn from your environment. More about "My Curiosity about Alumni / Graduates of Stembayo (STM Pembangunan)".

2. Life View

3. Clarification

Why clarify? Because people's perceptions of me still need to be straightened out. My written track record is longer in the world of electronics than IT. So, why not continue and develop in electronics? Okay, so here it is, there is a common thread to all of this.

In the past, before entering vocational school I had 2 interests, namely Electronics inspired by my uncle and Computers inspired by my childhood friend who is now a cousin, because of him I got to know symbian smartphones, ms word, and the internet. He is one of the lucky people with all the facilities, I am also lucky to be friends with him, so I can learn many things from him.

Coincidentally at that time, the government implemented a system that I forgot the name of but in principle every prospective student has the right to 1 main choice and 1 alternative choice (both for school and major). Long story short, I was previously on the list of 60 TKJ seats, a few days later it disappeared and remained in the Electronics seat. What can I do, I still went through with it.

Well, this clarification also confirms that I am not a student in the wrong major.

4. Flashback

Okay, let's start from 2009-2011 I worked as an electronics technician. This was the first time I worked in a field that I was interested in. It could be said that at that time I was a troubleshooter only, even so my creativity had actually begun to appear, because there were many unexpected things that I did that made my boss happy & proud. To the point that at that time I was called a Miracle Child. I think he was suggested by the soap opera that Joshua played.

Why happy, because the turnover has increased. Why proud, because the name of the store has become better. I give 2 examples of cases so that the boss gave me privileges that he had never given to previous employees.

1]. Initiative to create new solutions & possibilities. In the past, when the goods arrived it did not mean they were ready to sell because the machine and power supply had to be pirated first and the diplomatic language to the public was upgraded. The previous rule was that only this type of power supply could be upgraded (110 volts - 220 volts), besides that replace it with a custom power supply (220 volts), so it was not surprising if in the service room there were piles of cardboard boxes containing original power supplies that could not be upgraded, which only had a selling value per kilo. Well, that's where my skeptical seeds began to emerge, I thought it was natural because my background was in electrical vocational school while my boss had a BA in economics. In the past, every flood of requests always ended in vain (no conversion), because the machine was not ready to sell because the custom power stock had run out and never arrived. Long story short, my skepticism paid off, the pile of power supplies that had been a myth was finally broken, so that it had a selling value, automatically the machine stock was no longer dependent on the custom power stock and automatically every flood of orders became a conversion.

2]. Several customer machines that were stalled in the service room for almost 6 months were finally all fixed. Because of this, I am sure that its good name has reached all corners of the city of Jogja and its surroundings, to the point that customers from Solo and Purwokerto (by train) have come. Because it has become a risk, every service center is vulnerable to the image of "throwing stones and hiding their hands" when the damage is not handled successfully.

The reason I left this company was because I often fought with my father because both were stubborn in maintaining their own way of thinking. Finally, to minimize that, and also so as not to become an unruly child, I insisted on going abroad, wherever it was as long as it was far from the city of Jogja, and that opportunity turned out to be in Batam.

Batam 2011-2013 , this is where I experienced quite drastic development, you could say 180°, both personally and professionally. A major evaluation of myself was here.

1]. High level of tolerance , I did not expect to reach the point where I could accept various characters from various regions in Java such as Surabaya, Malang, Magelang, Solo, Jogja, Purwokerto, Cilacap, Cirebon, Bandung, and several regions in the Sumatra plains. Previously I only liked pop music, there I could accept what stands out in Rock, Dangdut, Koplo, Acoustic, Remix etc. I mean I became normal towards any music, there was no fanatic element. The proof is not everyone can be like that, in the past we were 15 people of various origins forced to live like prisoners in one dormitory room, and what I found, many strange human behaviors, one of which was from their taste in music, each of them did not accept it and bought active speakers, attacking each other with high volume. There were some people who were neutral, one of my friends even bought swimming earplugs, while I tried until I could enjoy it all.

2]. Communication , how do I represent the concerns of my friends as those who enjoy blind salaries to negotiate with management to immediately give us positions of responsibility.

3]. Discipline & Procedure , how my perspective becomes broader, because not all creative and innovative actions can be accepted there, where I know the principles of SOP and Bureaucracy in the field.

4]. Politics , where I had to learn to behave amidst the power struggle, where I was forced to be hostile with my friends in order to carry out bureaucratic procedures, where I was forced to make mistakes in front of my superiors. To the point that to work properly I had to be quiet and secretly wait for the right time. This is also the basis for me why I did not take the opportunity to extend my contract and decided to end my contract and continue studying.

Jogja 2013-2016 , this is where it is written that an electrical technician is needed, but in fact I work odd jobs, the cool term is

S U P E R M A N

I learned trigonometry to help surveyors, I learned photoshop and corel to help marketing, I also worked as a courier and operations to find sources of suppliers of the goods needed, I was also stressed all day from 6 am to night learning to welcome guests from Kalimantan as well as being a tour guide, as well as controlling the budget. The reason I left this company was because at that time I reached a point where I could not balance my responsibilities as a worker and a student, so I decided to skip + take a leave of absence from college for exactly 1 year, I used this to maximize my work and save to continue my studies later.

Jogja 2018-2019 , after graduating from college I immediately worked at an IT company, this was my first experience working in the IT field. Actually at that time I applied as an SEO Specialist, I never applied as an Android Developer, because I was more confident applying as a web developer or SEO specialist. So this was spontaneous, they saw my dicoding certificate, then offered an Android position too, and I was given a few minutes to decide whether I wanted to be on the web, SEO or Android. Finally I chose Android Developer even though with a very short consideration without confidence, but because of that I became more challenged and they dared to put that trust (so, thank you dicoding). So far, during my time in the world of work, the hardest pressure I have ever felt is here, I have worked under pressure from a direct boss, to being cursed and cursed with dirty words even in front of the board of directors until I no longer care what self-esteem is. One month passed, my friends who were in the same boat left, I still held on, because my focus was on the results of my work, my orientation was on the results of my work, I regretted leaving my job more because of an abandoned project than pressure like that.

My entrepreneurial style is more about providing examples or role models than giving advice, unless asked.

5. Conclusion

I also want to share, about the terms  extrovert & introvert , I have known this term since I was in college. What people describe about the two terms seems to bring me to a time of searching for my identity, starting from when I hated myself (junior high school) for my failure (feeling like a failure because I couldn't be like them), hoping to be an ideal teenager (enough time to play, enough nutrition, enough achievement, enough to be worthy and confident in socializing), and unfortunately no matter how hard I try, it only slightly offsets one of their few advantages. With the same portion of 24 hours, I spend more of it punishing myself by being diligent, concerned, thrifty, and knowing myself, in the hope that one day I can be like them, at least. I believe this effort is good, but it turns out that it is not ideal for them, our area calls it "okol", so I am "okol" and they are "reason".

Three years of punishing myself was not enough, 3 years of vocational school were also gone without missing until a character like this was formed, what people often call an introvert. The world of work requires me to be an extrovert, so I experimented with myself to find the answer whether "character" can be changed, such as changing a person who stutters to be an expert driver? and in fact, this self is not capable of becoming what they are extroverts in a short time.

Finally I met one of them but this time with a different condition (adulthood), giving me simple advice about the power of "Being Grateful" and "Do the Best". Since then I began to rise from my despair, and returned to the world of education (college), determined to consistently improve myself, in any condition, until the end of my life, and "Being Grateful" taught me about "True Happiness". Until the envy that had filled my heart for years slowly became "indifferent" because my focus was on "Do the Best" & "Being Grateful" my version, my version of ability. Now I no longer need to torture myself by being someone else.
Life is a GAME where NO ONE TELL YOU the rule, where the BEST PLAYERs are HACKER, where you NEVER know if YOU'RE WINNING OR NOT, just make YOUR LIFE much EASIER!

Whatever happens, happens. Some things are under your control, but many are not. Some things can influence you in making smart decisions.

Make the right choice, then deal with the rest. Whatever happens, make the best of it. You can control your own actions, it happens in your life and be prepared to do what you can, then build confidence to be able to handle whatever comes your way. Worrying about bad things happening will only lead you to negativity.

Do your best. Free yourself from worry, and you will be able to make the best of everything that comes your way. Sometimes the best life lessons come from the difficulties you encounter. Often, the greatest personal growth and development occurs when we are most challenged. Every circumstance is an opportunity, when you meet it with conviction and purpose.

Everything in life carries a risk. So don't take stupid risks, it doesn't mean living in fear. You need to know that avoiding risks without doing anything is the biggest risk of all.

Don't be afraid, do and complete what you know.
